Auburn Elks double up Placer Sierra Bank, 6-3

Anthony Amara and Eric Weaver each had two singles to lead Placer Sierra Bank over Auburn Elks 6-3 in Auburn Little League Majors division action last week. Ryan Lipsmeyer had 10 strikeouts to get the win on the mound. Colin Brown, Damon Bell, Philip Schoenhoff and Amara each knocked in one run.

Tim Bendana had a home run and a single for Auburn Elks while Matt Ryan added a double and a single.

Placer Sierra Bank 15, Auburn Kiwanis 6

Placer Sierra Bank rolled as Colin Brown hit a home run and Ryan Lipsmeyer belted a triple and a single to finish with three RBIs. Eric Weaver had a double and two singles and Philip Schoenhoff had a pair of singles for PSB.

Eric Weaver pitched and chalked up eight strikeouts in six innings.

Michael Reale had a double and an RBI to lead Auburn Kiwanis. Reilly Newman and Jesse Purdue both had RBI-singles. Joe Marich led the defensive effort.
