Little League
Roundup Bendana leads Elks Lodge over
Edgewood

Tim Bendana hit a three-run homer and Matt Ryan
had a single and a double with two RBIs to lead the Auburn Elks
Lodge #1691 over Edgewood Veterinary Clinic 9-5 in Auburn Little
League Majors action.
Bryce Starks and Nolan Wright each had
a single and Griffin Quick pitched four strong innings for the Elks.
Steven Swisley had a single, double and an RBI, Tim Smith hit a
single and had an RBI and Blair Meyer had an RBI for
Edgewood.
Ryan pitched a no-hitter and added a double and an
RBI for Elks Lodge in its 10-0 victory over Auburn Kiwanis
Club.
Bendana had a single, a double and an RBI, while Quick
had a double and two RBIs. Starks and Wright each had a single and
two RBIs. Matt Steele added a single and Jake Limon had an
RBI.
Joe Marich pitched three strong innings for the
Kiwanis.
Placer Sierra Bank takes two
Placer
Sierra Bank went 2-0 last week with victories over Auburn Outdoor
Sports and the Auburn 20/30 Club in Majors action.
Against
Outdoor Sports, Ryan Lipsmeyer had a home run, a single and an RBI
to help lead Sierra Bank to a 5-4 victory.
Anthony Amara had
a double, a single and an RBI and Chris Holbrook had a single and an
RBI. Eric Weaver and Tanner Anderson each had a single.
Amara also pitched three innings and struck out eight and
Lipsmeyer pitched three innings and struck out eight as well.
For Outdoor sports, Mike Gray had two singles, Mackenzie
Classon had a single and Cody Resendes had a single and one RBI.
Against the 20/30 Club, Sierra Bank won 9-0 with Amara
hitting a home run with a single and two RBIs. Lipsmeyer had a
double and three singles with two RBIs and Colin Brown had a double.
Tanner Anderson had two singles, Phillip Schoenhoff had one single
and one RBI and Tony Rangel and Chris Holbrook had a single.
For the 20/30 Club, James Tabor had two singles and P.J.
Bandanza had a single.
